What is eCash?
The eCash feature allows you to load money to your Card via your online account which can then be used for all of your purchases at Nationals Park. eCash provides fast, safe and secure cashless transactions at concessions and retail locations throughout the ballpark. For the 2014 season, 40 locations throughout the ballpark will feature eCash only lines.
How do I add eCash to my card?
Once you have logged into your online Access account, select "Top Up" from the menu on the left side of the screen. From this page you will have the option to add money to any one of your cards using the "Top Up" function. This will redirect you to a secure page where you will enter your credit or check card info.
What methods of payment can I use to top up my account?
Credit or Check cards can be used via the Top Up and Auto Top Up functions.
How quickly will the Top Up amount be reflected in my balance?
You will immediately see your Top Up amount reflected in your card balance. Auto Top Ups will not occur mid transaction, but will be triggered once the transaction is complete.
What is Auto Top Up? Should I sign up for it?
Signing up for Auto Top Up will allow you to maximize your eCash benefits. Easy to turn on and off, Auto Top Up links your account to your credit or check card. Once your card balance falls below the minimum threshold that you specify, funds are automatically added to your card. Auto Top Up participants also receive up to $200 in overdraft protection for negative balances.
How do I enroll in Auto Top Up?
Once you have logged into your online Access account, select "Auto Top Up" from the left hand menu options. From this page you will have the option to enroll in the Auto Top Up feature. When you select this feature, you will be asked to select the threshold that will prompt the Auto Top Up, as well as the amount you would like added every time your card balance dips below that threshold. Auto Top Up can be applied to any one of your cards.
How can I change my Auto Top Up payment details?
From the "Auto Top Up" page, select the "Configure Auto Top Up" icon and you will be able to amend your minimum threshold, Top Up amount, and credit/check card information. You can also disable Auto Top Up from this page at any time.
Is there a minimum/maximum balance?
Your card can only have $1,500 loaded to it at any time. You can have an unlimited amount of money within your account, and anytime you have excess money in your account and your card balance falls below $1,500, funds will be deducted from that excess amount and added to your card balance to return it to $1,500.
What is Bonus eCash?
Bonus eCash is the value added to your card balance by the Nationals.
How is Bonus eCash different from eCash?
Bonus eCash expires on December 31st, 2014, while eCash does not expire.
Where can I use my eCash?
eCash is accepted at all concessions stands and team stores throughout Nationals Park.
How do I make a purchase using my eCash?
To make a purchase using your eCash, present your card to the cashier as you would any other form of payment. The amount due will be deducted from your account.
What if the balance on my card will not cover the total amount of my purchase?
Unless you are enrolled in Auto Top Up, this will result in a split transaction and you will need to present another form of payment to cover the difference. Reduce the chances of experiencing a split transaction by enrolling in Auto Top Up.
How do I check my balance?
Check your balance online at nationals.com/access. Your account balance will be displayed on your homepage, while individual card balances can be seen on the balance page.
How do I view my transaction history?
From your account home page, select "Transaction History" from the left hand menu options. Enter a date range and click "Search" to view your transaction history.
