  • An entry into a drawing to be one of six schools visited by an A's player or coach
  • An invitation to the Oakland A's Home Run Readers Day at O.co Coliseum

Over 100 Bay Area schools participate in the A's Home Run Readers program.

The enrollment period for the Home Run Readers program is now closed for the 2014 season.

Mathletics
Mathletics

Since the Mathletics program inception in 2003, over 200,000 Bay Area and Northern California students' grades first through eighth have participated. The "Mathletics" program is sponsored by ROSS and Comcast SportsNet California.

The A's design and distribute thousands of "Mathletics" workbooks which utilize simple formulas for calculating statistics of A's players to students in hopes to promote the importance of math among Bay Area youth. Students who are in the first through eighth grade, complete the workbooks correctly and submit the answer sheet to the A's will earn two ticket vouchers to an A's game!

Green Stampede Homework Club

On select game dates elementary school students from across Oakland come the O.co Coliseum to receive help with their homework from tutors and aids. After the students have finished their homework they are able to sit in the stands and watch the game.

On the last meeting of the spring and fall sessions an A's player will visit and sign autographs for the students as a way to congratulate them for all of their hard work.
