METS-NATIONALS GAME POSTPONED FRIDAY, OCT. 2
GAME RESCHEDULED AS THE FIRST GAME OF A SEPARATE ADMISSION
DOUBLEHEADER SATURDAY, OCT. 3

The New York Mets have announced that the Friday, October 2 game against the Washington Nationals has been rescheduled as the first game of a separate admission doubleheader on Saturday, October 3.

Friday's rescheduled game will begin at 1:10 p.m. with gates opening at 11:10 a.m., followed by Saturday's regularly scheduled game at 7:10 p.m. Fans attending the first game will be required to exit the ballpark following the final out of the game.

Important Information:

  • Only tickets marked "Friday, October 2, 2015 - Game 79" are valid for admission to Saturday afternoon's game beginning at 1:10 p.m.

  • Tickets marked "Saturday, October 3, 2015 - Game 80" will remain valid for the originally scheduled 7:10 p.m. night game.

  • Free Shirt Friday t-shirts presented by AvoDerm and Nylabone will be given out to all fans in attendance at the 1:10 p.m. afternoon game, and the Mets fleece blanket courtesy of The Northwest Company will be given to the first 15,000 fans at the regularly scheduled 7:10 p.m. game.

  • Complimentary tickets to tonight's game and those marked "NO RAINCHECK" have no value and do not constitute a rain check, but are valid for admission for the game beginning tomorrow afternoon at 1:10 p.m.

  • The Mets will allow fans holding a paid ticket for tonight's game marked "Friday, October 2, 2015 - Game 79", who do not use their ticket for admission to Saturday afternoon's game to exchange their unused ticket for a complimentary ticket to any April 2016 home game (excluding Opening Day, April 8), subject to availability. Please note:

    • Tickets in the following Premium seating categories and Hospitality areas will be exchanged in an alternate seating category and location: Delta Platinum, Delta Gold, Delta Silver, Metropolitan Platinum, Metropolitan Gold, Hyundai Club, Honda Clubhouse, Party City Deck, Delta Sky Deck, Shea Bridge Terrace, Big Apple Reserved, Acela Club Patio, Empire Party Suites, Empire Luxury Suites and Sterling Suites.

    • Tickets purchased as part of the Pepsi Porch Party Pack, Voucher Value Pack, Caesars Bar Package or Wings and Beer Package will not include food and beverage credit if exchanged for an eligible April 2016 home game.

    • Tickets originally purchased with stored value will not include stored value credit if exchanged for an eligible April 2016 home game. The option to exchange these tickets for Rain Cards is not available.
  • Unused tickets marked "Friday, October 2, 2015 - Game 79" can be submitted for redemption by mail or in person at the Citi Field Box Office. Redemption orders will be processed in the off-season after individual tickets go on sale to the general public. Tickets can be mailed to the below address:

  • Parking passes of any kind for "Friday, October 2, 2015 - Game 79" will be valid only for Saturday afternoon's game beginning at 1:10 p.m. and may not be exchange for another game, refunded or carried over to the 2016 season.

The Citi Field Ticket Windows will open at 9 a.m.

PAID TICKETS (for a Regular Season game for which a make-up game is announced as an open date
or as part of a split admission doubleheader)

  • If a regulation game (as defined by Major League Baseball) is not played and the game is rescheduled as a stand-alone game or as part of a split day/night doubleheader, your paid ticket serves as your rain check. Rain checks are valid for admission to the rescheduled game.

  • Rain checks are eligible to be exchanged at the Citi Field Ticket Windows or by mailing tickets back to the Mets Ticket Office. Note that a regulation game has been played even if it is suspended after it becomes a regulation game.

  • Complimentary tickets and those tickets marked "NO RAINCHECK" shall have no value and do not constitute a rain check. These tickets are not eligible to be exchanged; however, they are valid for admission to the makeup game.

  • If attending the rescheduled game, the original ticket is used for entry to the ballpark.

  • No refunds will be given.

PAID TICKETS (for a Regular Season game for which a make-up game is announced as part of a
single-admission doubleheader, or that is cancelled and not rescheduled)

  • If a regulation game (as defined by Major League Baseball) has not been played and the game is rescheduled as part as a single-admission doubleheader or is cancelled and not rescheduled, your paid ticket serves as your rain check.

  • Rain checks are NOT valid for admission to the single admission doubleheader. However, rain checks can be exchanged for a same-priced or lower priced ticket, if available, or the face value can be applied towards the purchase of a higher-priced ticket, if available, for the single admission doubleheader or for any other Mets regular season home game at Citi Field within 12 months of the postponed game, subject to availability.

  • Rain checks are eligible to be exchanged at the Citi Field Ticket Windows or by mailing tickets back to the Mets Ticket Office. Note that a regulation game has been played even if it is suspended after it becomes a regulation game. Complimentary tickets and those tickets marked "NO RAINCHECK" shall have no value and do not constitute a rain check. No refunds will be given.

TICKETS PURCHASED/SOLD VIA STUBHUB.COM

  • Tickets purchased on StubHub for a postponed game will serve as a rain check, which may be used as set forth in the Mets rain policy, and tickets held by the seller will have no value and will not constitute a rain check.

GROUP TICKETS AND DAILY SUITE TICKETS

  • Group or Daily Suite Tickets purchasers who purchased through a Mets representative will be contacted by their rep regarding rescheduling their group for another date.

  • Group tickets purchased online as part of Community, Health, Heritage or Theme date will fall under the standard Mets Rain Check policy (see above). No refunds will be given.

WILL CALL

  • Customers with unclaimed tickets in Will Call need to contact Mets Ticket Services (by phone at 718-565-4360 or in person at the Ticket Services office) to pick them up or to exchange their tickets under the Mets Rain Check policy (see above).

  • If the game is postponed and rescheduled as an open date or as part of a split-admission doubleheader, unclaimed Will Call tickets are valid for the announced make-up game and can be picked up at Will Call on that day.

COMPLIMENTARY TICKETS

  • Complimentary tickets and those marked "NO RAINCHECK" are valid for the rescheduled game only if rescheduled as a stand-alone game or as part of a split-admission doubleheader.

  • The original ticket is used for entry to the rescheduled game. If the game is not rescheduled, or is rescheduled as part of a single-admission doubleheader, complimentary tickets or those tickets marked "NO RAINCHECK" shall have no value and do not constitute a rain check.

PARKING

  • Pre-Paid Passes: Pre-Paid parking passes for a postponed New York Mets game are valid for the announced make-up game. Dated Season Ticket Holder VIP/Premium parking passes for a game that is cancelled are valid for any 2015 New York Mets Regular Season game, except where otherwise noted. However, a parking space is not guaranteed and is subject to availability.

  • Day of Game Parking Passes (Cash Purchases): Fans that purchase a day of game parking pass upon arrival at Citi Field will receive a dated receipt from the parking attendant prior to entrance. In the event of a postponed game, the receipt can be used for any 2015 New York Mets regular season game, except where otherwise noted. A parking space is not guaranteed and is subject to availability.
