Before departing for Citi Field we encourage you to check Mets.com for the latest information on the #7 subway line, the Long Island Railroad, local traffic as well as parking areas. When arriving at Citi Field, follow signs, NYPD and traffic personnel directing you to designated Citi Field sites. It is suggested that you try to arrive early to avoid traffic congestion.

  • Commuter Parking

    Game/Event Parking

    • Any commuters entering Southfield parking lot after 9am on day games will be charged the event rate of $22.00. Any commuter entering Southfield parking lot after 12(noon) on night games will be charged event rate of $22.00.

    Bus Parking opens three hours prior.

    Special Event Parking

    Lots open three hours prior.

    Black Car Service

    Guests interested in hiring a car service for post-game transportation will find "black cars" available at window #28 on 126 street, at Right field on 126 street, and at the Jackie Robinson Rotunda ( Mets Plaza). This service is provided by third parties independent of the New York Mets. GroundLink, the exclusive car service of the Mets, will also be available post-game. They can be reached at 855-577-9752

  • Parking Map

    Primary Lots- There are 5 parking lots within the fence line of Citi Field. They are designated as follows:
    A Lot- Located on the north side of Citi Field and accommodates Day of Game employees, front office employees and general parking.
    B Lot- Located on the west side of Citi Field and accommodates VIP preferred parking only.
    C Lot- Located on the west side of Citi Field and accommodates preferred parking.
    D Lot- Located on the west side of Citi Field and accommodates preferred parking.
    E Lot- Located on the west side of Citi Field and accommodates general parking.
    F Lot- Located on the west side of Citi Field and accommodates preferred parking.
    G Lot (Official Parking Lot)- Located on the south side of Citi Field and accommodates employee, premium, front office, player family, press and guest parking.
    Remote Lots- There are 5 parking lots outside of the fence line of Citi Field and accommodates general parking. They are designated as follows:
    Marina West- Located north of Citi Field along the marina and accommodates general parking. This lot will only be available during unusual circumstances.
    Marina East- Located north of Citi Field along the marina and accommodates general parking.
    Flushing Meadows Park- Located in Flushing Meadows Park. Lots D, E and F will be available during special events. When these lots are used, shuttle buses will be available to transport guests from the lots to the Flushing Meadows entrance passarelle and back.
    Stadium View- Situated north of Citi Field beneath the Whitestone Parkway overpass. The lot is divided by the road leading into the primary Citi Field parking entrance.
    Southfield/Commuter Lot- Located on Roosevelt Avenue between 126th Street and Shea Road. It accommodates commuter parking as well as general parking for games/events at Citi Field. This lot will be closed to commuters on opening day, holidays, series vs. Yankees, and US Open conflict days (March 31, May 14, 15, 26, July 4, August 26, 27, 28, 29, and September 8). The Citi Field event rate of $22.00 (tax included) will be in effect for these dates.

    *For weekday games starting at 12 noon the $4.00 rate will be in effect until 8AM. For weekday games starting at 1:10PM the $4.00 rate will be in effect until 9AM. For weekday night games the $4.00 rate will be in effect until 12 noon. After the $4.00 rate expires at the respective time for each game the Citi Field event rate of $22.00 (tax included) will be in effect.
     
    Commuter Parking- This lot is open from 3:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and is primarily available for commuters. This lot is not staffed with cashiers after 5 p.m., and all exits will remain open after that time.
    Game/Event Parking- Any vehicle entering when Citi Field lots open on game/event days will be charged the game/ fee of $22.00. This lot will accommodate general parking.
    Important note- The lots at the Hall of Science are no longer operated by the N.Y. Mets. No shuttle service will be provided from that location.
    Bus/Oversized Parking- Located north of Citi Field on the west side of the Shea Road intersection.
    This lot is commonly referred to as "Pork Chop Hill." This lot will open 4 hours prior to the scheduled beginning of games/events at Citi Field. The cost of bus or oversize vehicle parking is $40.

    Hours of operation: All parking lots will open no later than (3) hours prior to the scheduled beginning of games/events at Citi Field. The only exception to these hours is the Commuter Lot (see Commuter Lot info below).

    Credit cards: The Mets are one of the first teams in the area to offer credit card usage in the lanes at Citi Field. In addition to cash, patrons may choose to use their major credit card to gain entry to any of the Day of Game (General Parking) Lots. There are NO additional fees to use your credit card at Citi Field. All credit card information is encrypted at the time of the transaction.

    Accessible Parking: Accessible parking spaces are readily available on a first-come, first-served basis, in order to fairly serve Citi Field fans. Spaces may not be reserved in advance. Vehicles identified in the accessible spaces without proper hang tag or licenses plates will be towed immediately at the owners cost.

    Rain Out/Postponement: In the event of an MLB sanctioned rain-out or postponed game, Mets fans will be able to use their receipt for parking in the event the game is cancelled or postponed. The receipt will be honored only for the new date on which the game is replayed. No cash refunds are available for the initial parking entry.

    Special Event Parking: All lots will generally be open three (3) hours prior to the start of a special event. Fans should check on mets.com to determine the opening time of the lots for any special event as well as cost to park for those events.

    Access-A-Ride: The drop off and pick up location for all Guests using the Access-A-Ride service is the Bullpen Gate on 126th Street.

    Black Car Service: Guests interested in hiring a car service for post-game transportation will find "black cars" available at either end of the Mets office building on 126th Street. This service is provided by third parties independent of the New York Mets.

    Game/Event Parking Rates: Any vehicle entering Citi Field's primary parking lots when they are open for a baseball game will be charged the game parking fee of $22. Any vehicle entering when these lots are open for a special event will be charged the special event parking fee.

    Handicapped Parking: Citi Field's parking lots include more than 350 parking spaces designated exclusively for our Guests with disabilities. These spaces are located in lots A, B, F and G, and are available to any Guest displaying a valid handicapped parking pass and possessing either a Citi Field preferred parking pass or a daily parking receipt for that day's event. Additional handicapped parking spaces are available in the Southfield Lot.

    Hours of Operation: All lots will open four hours prior to the scheduled beginning of games/events at Citi Field. The only exception to these hours is the Commuter Lot (see Commuter Lot).

    Parking Rainchecks: Guests will be able to use their receipt for parking in the event the game is cancelled or postponed. The receipt will be honored only for the date on which the game is replayed. No cash refunds are available.

    Preferred Parking Passes: - The option to purchase preferred parking passes for all 81 New York Mets home games is available exclusively to Season Ticket account holders. To add preferred parking to your account, season ticket holders should contact Season/Plan Account Customer Service at (718) 565-4360 for more information. There are four designated preferred parking areas within the main Citi Field parking lot, but preferred parking passes will be honored in any Citi Field or remote parking lot. Guests holding preferred parking passes may enter through any gate except Gate 1. Please present your parking hangtag to the attendant upon entering the parking lot, and display your parking hangtag in a prominent location attached to your rearview mirror when parking.

    World's Fair Marina: World's fair Marina is staffed 24 hours per day 365 days per year. The telephone number for reservations is 718-478-0480.

    Non-commercial transient rate is as follows:
    $2.00 per linear foot for overnight
    $1.00 per linear foot for Special events (Mets Games, Us Open, Concerts)
    Electric service is available at additional cost

    Non- Commercial Passenger drop off/Pick up is:
    $20 for vessels 40' or less
    $30 for vessels 41' or more

  • Arriving Late

    If you plan on arriving for the game less than 1 hour before game time, the following directions should be followed to the satellite parking lots to avoid congestion and delayed entry to the ballpark.

    From Queens:
    Take the East bound Grand Central Parkway to exit 9E- Northern Boulevard/Citi Field exit.
    ...OR Grand Central Parkway West to exit 9E Citi Field exit.
    From Manhattan:
    Take the Williamsburg Bridge to the Brooklyn-Queens Expressway (BQE/I-278) East to the Long Island Expressway East to Exit 22E for College Point Boulevard, at the end of the exit ramp, make a left at the light onto College Point Boulevard. At the second light (near 59th Ave.) make a left to enter the park and access satellite Parking. Follow direction from NYPD upon entering the Park.
    ...OR The Queens Midtown Tunnel to the Long Island Expressway (I-495) East to Exit 22E for College Point Boulevard, at the end of the exit ramp, make a left at the light onto College Point Boulevard. At the second light (near 59th Ave.) make a left to enter the park and access satellite Parking. Follow direction from NYPD upon entering the Park.
    From Brooklyn (option #1):
    Take the Brooklyn-Queens Expressway (BQE/I-278) East to the Long Island Expressway East to Exit 22B for the Grand Central Parkway West. Exit the Grand Central Parkway West at Exit 9E for Citi Field.
    From Brooklyn (option #2):
    Take the Jackie Robinson Parkway to the Van Wyck Expressway North. Exit the Van Wyck Expressway at Exit 12A. Continue straight on to College Point Blvd. Follow signs to Citi Field Parking.
    From the Bronx:
    Take the Cross Bronx Expressway to Whitestone Bridge to Whitestone Expressway to the Van Wyck Southbound to Exit at 12A, LIE WEST - Midtown Tunnel/Manhattan To College Point Boulevard.

At the second light (near 59th Ave.) make a left to enter the park and access satellite Parking. Follow direction from NYPD upon entering the Park.

    Take the Long Island Expressway (LIE/I-495) West to Exit 22B - College Point Blvd. At the first light make a right on to College Point Blvd. Follow signs to Citi Field Parking.

    From Northern New Jersey (option #1):
    Take the George Washington Bridge to Harlem River Drive then to the Robert F. Kennedy Bridge. Follow "From Manhattan" directions above.
    From Northern New Jersey (option #2):
    Take the George Washington Bridge to the Cross Bronx Expressway, then to the Whitestone Bridge. Take the Whitestone Expressway South. Stay to the left and take the Van Wyck Expressway. Exit the Van Wyck Expressway South at Exit 12A - College Point Blvd. Follow signs to Citi Field Parking.
    From Southern New Jersey:
    Take the Goethals Bridge to the Staten Island Expressway East to the Verrazano Narrows Bridge to the Brooklyn-Queens Expressway (BQE/I-278) East. Take the Brooklyn-Queens Expressway (BQE/I-278) East to the Long Island Expressway East to Exit 22B for the Grand Central Parkway West. Exit the Grand Central Parkway West at Exit 9P for Citi Field.

    From Connecticut (option #1):
    Take I-95 to the Whitestone Bridge to the Whitestone Expressway South. Stay to the left and take the Van Wyck Expressway. Exit the Van Wyck Expressway South at Exit 12A - College Point Blvd. Follow signs to Citi Field Parking.

    Take I-87 South (becomes the Major Deegan Expressway in New York City) to the Robert F. Kennedy Bridge to the Grand Central Parkway to exit 9E- Northern Boulevard/Citi Field exit.
    Directions from College Point Boulevard
    After entering the park via College Point Blvd. follow NYPD officer directions towards the most accessible parking. They will have real-time information on parking lot accessibility so all patrons can arrive at Citi Field as quickly as possible.
