D-backs select Bolsinger from Triple-A Reno, option Harris to Reno
Hernandez transferred to 60-Day Disabled List

PHOENIX - The Arizona Diamondbacks (@Dbacks) have selected the contract of right-handed pitcher Mike Bolsinger (@MBolsinger) from Triple-A Reno, optioned right-handed pitcher Will Harris to Reno and transferred right-handed pitcher David Hernandez to the 60-day disabled list, according to D-backs' Executive Vice President & General Manager Kevin Towers.
Bolsinger, 26, is getting his first Major League experience and will wear No. 49. In 2 starts with Triple-A Reno, went 2-0 with a 1.42 ERA (2 ER in 12.2 IP). He combined to throw 9.2 scoreless innings to begin the season, including 6.2 shutout innings on April 4 vs. El Paso.
Bolsinger has gone 25-18 with a 3.38 ERA (140 ER in 373.0 IP) and 2 complete games in 87 appearances (59 starts) in 5 Minor League seasons with Arizona (2010-14). In 2014, Bolsinger made 1 relief appearance as a non-roster invitee during his first Spring Training with the Major League club (0 ER in 1.1 IP).
The McKinney, Texas native was drafted by the D-backs in the 15th round of the 2010 First-Year Player Draft and was a member University of Arkansas pitching staff that attended the 2009 College World Series.
Harris, 29, went 0-1 with a 9.72 ERA (9 ER in 8.1 IP) and 13 strikeouts in 7 relief appearances for the D-backs. Over parts of 3 season in the Majors, he has gone 5-2 with a 4.22 ERA (33 ER in 70.1 IP) and 72 strikeouts in 81 games in relief for the Rockies (2012) and D-backs (2013-14).
Hernandez, 28, was diagnosed with an ulnar collateral ligament injury on March 28, and was placed on the 15-day disabled list on March 30 (retroactive to March 26).
The D-backs' 40-man roster remains at 40.
