Hurler swapped for player to be named or cash considerations

The Angels acquired right-hander Barry Enright from the D-backs in exchange for a player to be named or cash considerations, the team announced on Monday night.

Enright, who will be assigned to Triple-A Salt Lake, has spent the 2012 season season with the Triple-A Reno Aces of the Pacific Coast League. In 21 starts, he is 8-6 with a 5.87 ERA.

In 2011, the right-hander appeared with the Aces and the D-backs, making seven starts for Arizona (1-4, 7.41 ERA) and appearing in 21 games with Reno (9-5, 5.21 ERA)

Selected by the D-backs in the second round of the 2007 First-Year Player Draft, Enright went to Pepperdine, tallying 35 wins in three seasons.
