Owings will make start against Mets
Right-hander feeling fine after spraining ankle Saturday

"Good to go," he said.
Owings sprained his right ankle Saturday in San Diego, when he rolled it while stepping on second base after doubling. He was forced to leave the game, and there was some question as to whether he'd be ready to go Friday.
Well, not in the mind of Owings, who said after Saturday's game that he was planning on making his next start.
"He's going to pitch," D-backs manager Bob Melvin said. "No problems out there, and he's got three more days before he actually pitches, so I think by that time he will be fairly close to 100 percent."
The only problem Owings said he had Tuesday was getting used to the tape wrapped around his ankle.
"Just a little tape restriction; that was about it," said Owings, who credited the medical team of Ken Crenshaw, Dave Edwards and Neil Rampe for his quick recovery.
Owings is 4-0 with a 3.48 ERA in five starts this year.
