The Arizona Diamondbacks have released infielder Tony Clark, as announced by D-backs Executive Vice President and General Manager Josh Byrnes.
Clark batted .182 (12-for-66) with four doubles, four home runs and 11 RBIs in 36 games for the D-backs this season. Over parts of five seasons with the D-backs, he hit .255 (212-for-831) with 37 doubles, 59 home runs and 178 RBIs in 396 games.
A corresponding move will be made at a later date.
