D-backs sign 12 Draft choices

PHOENIX -- The Arizona Diamondbacks today announced they have signed 12 of their 51 choices in the 2008 Major League Baseball First-Year Player Draft.
The signed players are:
- Collin Cowgill, fifth round, 168th overall, outfielder, University of Kentucky.
- Justin Parker, sixth round, 198th overall, shortstop, Wright State University, brother of D-backs' 2007 first-round pick, Jarrod Parker.
- Miles Reagan, seventh round, 228th overall, right-handed pitcher, El Capital High, Lakeside, California.
- Kyle Green, 11th round, 348th overall, third baseman, Lewis-Clark State College, Lewiston, Idaho.
- Robert Stone, 15th round, 468th overall, outfielder, Montgomery (Texas) High.
- Bryan Woodall, 21st round, 648th overall, right-handed pitcher, Auburn University.
- Nelson Gomez, 24th round, 738th overall, third baseman, Keystone College, La Plume, Pennsylvania.
- Terry Hose, 36th round, 1098th overall, right-handed pitcher, East Carolina University.
- Jesse Orosco, Jr., 38th round, 1158th overall, right-handed pitcher, Grossmont College, El Cajon, California.
- Brendan Duffy, 41st round, 1248th overall, outfielder, Oral Roberts University.
- David Cooper, 44th round, 1338th overall, shortstop, Mount Olive (N.C.) College.
- Dan Kauffman, 46th round, 1392nd overall, first baseman, Juniata College, Huntingdon, Pennsylvania.
