Diamondbacks make three roster moves
tickets for any Major League Baseball game

PHOENIX -- The Arizona Diamondbacks on Saturday announced that they have purchased the contract of right-hander Kevin Jarvis from Triple-A Tucson. To make room on the active 25-man roster, the club optioned right-hander Greg Aquino to Tucson. Additionally, to open a slot on the 40-man roster, pitcher Brian Bruney was designated for assignment.

Jarvis, 36, was 2-5 with a 3.64 ERA in nine starts for the Sidewinders this season. He limited the opposition to a .255 batting average while allowing 29 runs (22 earned) on 53 hits over 54 1/3 innings. He has totaled 38 strikeouts and 14 walks this season.

Jarvis owns a lifetime 34-47 record with a save and a 5.97 ERA in 178 games (114 starts). He will wear No. 32.
