Diamondbacks sign Jarvis to Minor League contract
tickets for any Major League Baseball game

PHOENIX -- The Arizona Diamondbacks today announced they have signed free agent pitcher Kevin Jarvis to a minor league contract. Consistent with team policy, terms of the contract were not disclosed.

Jarvis, a 36-year old righthander, spent 2005 in the St. Louis Cardinals' organization, going 0-1 with a 13.50 ERA in 4 relief outings at the big-league level. He also went 11-6 with a 3.38 ERA in 26 games (25 starts) for Memphis (AAA-Pacific Coast League). Over his 11-year major-league career, Jarvis owns a 34-47 record and a 5.97 ERA in 178 lifetime appearances, including 114 starts.
