  • Nationals Announce 2015 Non-Roster Invitees

    The Washington Nationals have agreed to terms with right-handed pitcher Heath Bell, right-handed pitcher Bruce Billings, right-handed pitcher Manny Delcarmen, right-handed pitcher Mitch Lively, right-handed pitcher Scott McGregor, right-handed pitcher Evan Meek, catcher Steve Lerud, infielder Emmanuel Burriss, first baseman Kila Ka'aihue, first baseman Clint Robinson, third baseman Ian Stewart, second baseman Dan Uggla and outfielder Mike Carp on Minor-League contracts with invitations to Major League Spring Training.

    Washington Nationals broadcast partners Mid-Atlantic Sports Network (MASN) and 106.7 The Fan will broadcast a total of 14 Nationals Spring Training matchups throughout the weeks leading up to the start of the 2015 regular season. The Nationals 2015 Grapefruit League schedule features seven games televised by MASN and a combined 10 games airing on 106.7 The Fan and partner station CBS Sports Radio 1580 AM. 106.7 The Fan will also offer regular reports from Florida throughout Nationals Spring Training.

    The Washington Nationals agreed to terms with right-handed pitcher Casey Janssen on a one-year contract with a mutual option for 2016 on Monday.

  • Nationals agree to terms on 7-year contract with rhp Max Scherzer

    The Washington Nationals agreed to terms with 2013 American League Cy Young Award winner right-handed pitcher Max Scherzer on a seven-year contract on Wednesday. President of Baseball Operations and General Manager Mike Rizzo made the announcement.

  • Catcher Wilson Ramos wins 2014 Tony Conigliaro Award

    Catcher Wilson Ramos, who hit .267 with 11 home runs and 47 RBI in 88 regular season games for the Washington Nationals last season, has been voted the winner of the 25th annual Tony Conigliaro Award. This honor is presented to a major league player who has overcome adversity through the attributes of spirit, determination and courage that were trademarks of Tony C.

  • Nationals acquire INF Yunel Escobar from Oakland Athletics

    The Washington Nationals acquired infielder Yunel Escobar from the Oakland Athletics on Wednesday in exchange for right-handed reliever Tyler Clippard. President of Baseball Operations and General Manager Mike Rizzo made the announcement.
