D-backs unveil Spring Training slate
Final season in Tucson opens March 4 against Rockies

PHOENIX -- The D-backs' final Spring Training in Tucson, Ariz., will begin on March 4, when they host the Colorado Rockies at Tucson Electric Park at 1:05 p.m. MST. After 13 springs in Tucson, the D-backs will move their spring operations in 2011 to a facility located on Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community land just west of Loop 101 and north of Indian Bend Road in Scottsdale, Ariz. The team broke ground on Monday on the 140-acre facility, which will be shared with the Rockies. The D-backs will conclude their 33-game spring schedule with a pair of contests against the Cubs at Chase Field on April 2-3 before opening the season at home against the Padres on April 5. Tickets for the exhibition games against the Cubs at Chase Field, which benefit the Arizona Diamondbacks Foundation's "Diamonds Back" field-building program, will go on sale with the remainder of the team's 81 home games on March 6. Included in the schedule are 15 games at TEP and an additional two games in Tucson at Hi Corbett Field. There will be 15 games in the Phoenix area and one in Hermosillo, Mexico, against the Rockies. The Reds, who will be spending their first season in the Cactus League in 2010, are set to visit TEP on March 16. Ticket prices for games at Tucson Electric Park are: Field Level Infield $18; Covered Mezzanine $16; Field Level Grandstand $14; Lower Bleachers $9; Upper Bleachers $7; Lawn seats $5. Kids will be able to run the bases at TEP following Sunday games on March 7, 21 and 28, and the D-backs will offer a $2 ticket discount to all military personnel that present a military identification card for any game at TEP. In addition, the team will have various ticket options for groups of 20 or more. Fans can purchase tickets for all 2010 Spring Training home games in person at the Tucson Electric Park ticket office beginning at 9 a.m. MST on Jan. 23.
