PHOENIX -- Things will be much quieter in the Arizona dugout Tuesday night, at least when the D-backs are in the field.

That's because the always talkative Orlando Hudson is back in the starting lineup.

Hudson has missed eight of the last nine games due to a right hamstring injury that occurred May 2.

"I'm good," Hudson said.

Manager Bob Melvin said he had planned on playing Hudson on Sunday in Chicago, but once he saw the cold and wet weather forecast, he decided against it.

"This is probably as bad of conditions to try and bring somebody back from a hamstring injury," Melvin said about the conditions at Wrigley Field.

Hudson hates not being in the lineup and makes his presence felt on the bench as he claims to help Melvin manage.

"I always aggravate him," Hudson said with a smile. "I've got to aggravate him, there ain't nothing else to do."

Now, there is.
