Comments: Schlereth was drafted in the eighth round last year by the A's, but chose to return to Arizona. He's got three decent offerings, though he struggles at times with commanding them. He misses a lot of bats, but he also will pile up walks at times. He's got a good hitting approach, but scouts don't expect him to hit for power in the future. Comments: Teams looking for good defense behind the plate surely know all about Babineau, one of the better catch-and-throw guys in the Draft class. Though he's improved offensively, the bat lags behind the defensive tools. He looks like a guy who could use his defense and leadership to become a solid backup catcher at the big-league level, a guy who'll shut down the running game and maybe give you a .250 average and 10 homers annually.
