Kiss Kiss Bang Bat: Parra delivers with lucky lumber
Looking for a little extra luck before his seventh-inning plate appearance at Petco Park on Sunday, Gerardo Parra asked an elderly fan sitting near the D-backs dugout to kiss his bat.
If he got a hit, the lumber would be hers to keep.
Parra did one better, smashing his third homer of the season, then made good on his promise as he entered the dugout.
