D-backs agree to terms with 26 players, renew contracts for Kennedy and Miranda

PHOENIX -- The Arizona Diamondbacks announced today they have agreed to terms on one-year contracts for the 2011 season with 26 pre-arbitration players and renewed the contracts of right-handed pitcher Ian Kennedy and infielder Juan Miranda, according to D-backs' Executive Vice President and General Manager Kevin Towers.

The 26 players who agreed to terms on one-year contracts are right-handed pitchers Josh Collmenter, Sam Demel, Barry Enright, Juan Gutierrez, David Hernandez, Daniel Hudson, Juan Jaime, Kam Mickolio, Kevin Mulvey, Yonata Ortega, Rafael Rodriguez, Carlos Rosa, Daniel Stange, Brian Sweeney and Esmerling Vasquez; left-handed pitchers Zach Kroenke, Jordan Norberto, Joe Paterson and Leyson Septimo; catchers John Hester and Konrad Schmidt; infielders Tony Abreu, Brandon Allen and Ryan Roberts; and outfielders Cole Gillespie and Gerardo Parra.

The D-backs now have all players on the 40-man roster under contract for the 2011 season.
