Join the Arizona Diamondbacks and the Ovarian Cancer Alliance of Arizona at Chase Field on Friday, July 18, when the Diamondbacks take on the Los Angeles Dodgers at 6:40 p.m.

Every hour a woman loses her life to ovarian cancer. All women are at risk for ovarian cancer. It is a dangerous disease that causes more deaths than any other gynecologic cancer. There is no screening test, so most women, roughly 80 percent, are diagnosed in the late stages when prognosis is very poor. However, when women are diagnosed in Stage I of the disease it is 90 percent curable. If we can identify the symptoms earlier, women's lives will be saved!

The Ovarian Cancer Alliance of Arizona is committed to increasing ovarian cancer awareness in the public and medical communities, serving as advocates to increase the funding and resources for this disease, and empowering ovarian cancer survivors to "Live Out Loud".

Our goal this year is to inform ONE MILLION women in Arizona about the symptoms of ovarian cancer!

On D-backs Ovarian Cancer Awareness Day, five dollars of each ticket purchased through the OCAWARE link will support the Ovarian Cancer Alliance of Arizona. One hundred percent of the funds raised will go towards ovarian cancer awareness and educational programs in Arizona. In addition, the D-backs will promote awareness at the game during a pre-game on-field presentation and by providing information at the Community Booth in the concourse.
