Every child deserves a chance to play baseball. With your help MLAZ can build an adaptive field with specialized equipment to remove the barriers that keep children with physical and mental disabilities off of the baseball field. But it's more than playing a game. MLAZ is about making new friends, building self-esteem and being treated just like other kids. To help the athletes, MLAZ uses a "buddy-system" -- pairing each player with an able-bodied peer. MLAZ teams play on a custom -- designed, rubberized turf field that accommodates wheelchairs and other devices while helping to prevent injuries and promote fun!
On August 30, $5 from each ticket purchased through the Miracle League link will be donated back to the MLAZ.
