  • Is in his sixth season as D-backs' television analyst on FOX Sports Arizona broadcasts after returning to the organization in 2013...was the club's original analyst from 1998-2000.
  • Spent 8 seasons as an analyst for Chicago Cubs games from 2005-12.
  • Has served as an analyst for TBS during the postseason and has worked three World Series, two All-Star Games and numerous Division Series and League Championship Series in the booth.
  • Managed the D-backs from 2001-04 and guided the franchise to its first World Championship in 2001...his .536 winning percentage is the highest in D-backs' history and his 303 victories rank third on the all-time list.
  • Played 9 seasons in Majors with the San Francisco Giants (1981-89) and Toronto Blue Jays (1989) and was a career .247 hitter with 119 doubles, 91 homers and 333 RBI in 971 games.
  • He and his wife, Joan, live in Scottsdale...they have 2 children, Lacey and Michael.
  • Michael was a catcher in the Cubs (2008-12), D-backs (2013) and Red Sox (2014) organizations.
