The inaugural D-backs Race Against Cancer presented by the U of A Cancer Center at St. Joseph's and the University of Arizona College of Medicine Phoenix was a home run! The 5K Run and Family Fun 1K Walk was Saturday, February 9, 2013. The D-backs coaching staff lead the race that started and ended at Chase Field. Top finishers in each age division will be recognized in a pre-game ceremony on April 26. Proceeds from the event benefitted the Arizona Diamondbacks Foundation and will be distributed to Arizona non-profits that provide screening, treatment and support for those dealing with cancer.
