Established in 1997, the Arizona Diamondbacks Foundation focuses its efforts on three main areas of need: homelessness, indigent healthcare, and children's programs of all types, including education and youth baseball field development. Through fundraising activities, the team's charitable arm has raised and donated more than $14.5 million to the Arizona community. The cornerstone of giving for the foundation is the "Diamonds Back" Field Building Program, which has built or refurbished 28 youth baseball fields in Arizona since 2000.

D-backs Foundation Fundraisers

During the season, fans, players and staff are able to participate in a number of fundraising activities for these causes. Below are the main events benefiting the D-backs Foundation.

Evening on the Diamond

The third annual "Evening on the Diamond" fundraising event raised $1.1 million to benefit the Arizona Diamondbacks Foundation. Overall, the event has raised more than $3.9 million. The nearly 600 people in attendance, including D-backs players and coaches, enjoyed dinner on the infield of Chase Field followed by a live performance by world renowned entertainer and comedian Bill Cosby. The Foundation hosts a number of fundraising events at Chase Field each year including D-backs Picnic at the Park, Mystery Ball Grab Bags and Fetch on the Field. Shirts Off Our D-backs

Forty lucky fans walk away after the final regular season home game with an authentic Diamondbacks players' or coaches' jersey. With the purchase of scratch-off cards, fans have the chance to win a jersey or a commemorative gift. For more information on this event and others, click here »

Online Auction

The D-backs Foundation Online Auction is a year-round auction on the D-backs website. Items listed in the auction are updated every two weeks and include rare autographed merchandise and items used or worn during games.

ebay Contributions

Did you know that your sales on ebay can help the D-backs Foundation? Simply choose to have a portion of the proceeds donated to the Arizona Diamondbacks Foundation when prompted during the sale set-up. For more information, email dbacksfoundation@dbacks.com.

United Way Contributions

When you contribute to the Valley of the Sun United Way, you can designate your donation to benefit the Arizona Diamondbacks Foundation. When completing your form, simply choose the Restricted Contribution option and indicate you wish your donation to go to the Arizona Diamondbacks Foundation. Chase Field Tours

Year-round tours are available to the general public, for both individuals and groups, with proceeds benefiting the D-backs Foundation.
